Scoring the 2025 Tournament

1.0 LOOT
1.1 The team scores 1 point for each 1$ of treasure outside of the dungeon when the run is complete
1.2 The team scores 1 point for each 2$ of treasure in-hand when the run is complete
1.3 Treasure must be deposited outside or in-hand.
1.4 Treasures acquired but later lost do not count toward score
2.0 EXPLORATION
2.1 The team score points for each chamber explored
2.1.1 A chamber is considered explored when it is interacted with in a meaningful manner
2.1.2 Simply entering a chamber does not count
2.1.3 Fighting monsters in a chamber does count if that is the only point of interaciton
2.2 If all chambers of a level are explored, the team scores bonus points.
2.2.1 The Referee will let the players know if this has been achieved when it is achieved on a level.
2.2.2 The Points Schedule for Exploration:

3.0 BONUS SCORING
3.1 If the Heart of Veltjarn is Quieted:
3.1.1 The entire team score is DOUBLED
3.1.2 No characters need to survive for this bonus to be applied
3.2 A team may chooses to end before the timer runs out
3.2.1 Gain +100 points for every 5 full minutes that retain
3.3 If a team uses NO LUCK
3.3.1 They will gain +1000 points per player
3.3.2 Special abilities or items that provide luck DO NOT COUNT toward this bonus
3.4 Terrible Traits
3.4.1 The maxium bonus from using terrible traits is 20% for the entire team
3.4.2 The Ref will let the team know they have hit the cap
4.0 RETURNING PLAYERS
4.1 A player may join any number of sessions
4.2 A player that has previousy run the 2025 dungeon triggers a point reduction
4.2.1 A reduction of 2% per time this dungeon has been played
4.2.2 This is cumulative among all players.
EXAMPLE: 2 players have run once before and 1 player has run twice before. There will be a 8% point reduction: (2% x1) + (2% x1) + (2% x2) = 8%
5.0 FINAL SCORING
5.1 A team’s final score will be posted on the discord and announced on social media
5.1.1 Scores will be posted within 24 hours of the game completion
5.2 The score breakdown will be made available to the team.
5.2.1 This may be shared by players if they so choose, but it is valuable info if a second run is planned.
